Territory Account Executive
Position Summary
Dp Derm is seeking a results-driven Territory Account Executive to own and grow a defined sales territory through new business development and long-term account expansion. This is a remote, field-based role requiring regular travel within the assigned region to engage med spas, dermatology clinics, and aesthetic practices. You will be responsible for prospecting, closing new device sales, and growing accounts post-sale through consumables, skincare, and additional product lines.

Role Overview
This is a true field sales role focused on:
- Building a territory from the ground up
- Driving new logo acquisition
- Expanding existing accounts through upsells and cross-sells
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through long-term retention
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Generate your own leads daily through outbound prospecting rather than relying on inbound leads
- Cold call clinics by phone to open new conversations and book meetings and demos
- Conduct cold drop-ins and in-person visits to local med spas, dermatology clinics, and aesthetic practices
- Build and run a consistent prospecting cadence across phone, field, and follow-up
- Be comfortable opening doors with no prior relationship, both on the phone and face-to-face
Territory Ownership & New Business Development
- Own and build a defined territory through outbound prospecting, in-person visits, and strategic follow-up
- Identify and close new business by selling the Dermapen 4 microneedling device and associated skincare solutions
- Consistently achieve a minimum of $40,000 in monthly revenue, with expectations to grow beyond baseline quota
- Full-cycle sales execution: prospect and open new accounts through cold outreach and field activity, conduct in-person demos and clinical conversations with providers and practice owners, close new device sales, and transition accounts into long-term partnerships
Account Management & Revenue Expansion
- Grow existing accounts through consumables, skincare, and new product launches
- Identify opportunities to expand treatment protocols and increase clinic revenue
- Drive recurring revenue through ongoing engagement and strategic recommendations
- Client partnership & brand representation: Serve as a trusted advisor to clinics, not just a vendor, educate clients on products, treatment protocols, and best practices, attend local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, represent Dp Derm with professionalism and clinical credibility in the field
Technical Support & Device Troubleshooting
- You are the first line of defense when a client has a device issue. Technological savvy is essential and non-negotiable in this role.
- Serve as the frontline point of contact for technical questions and device issues across your accounts
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for the Dermapen 4 device, both in person and remotely, covering setup, charging, calibration, error messages, and day-to-day operation
- Walk clients through resolution steps clearly and patiently so they can get back to treating with minimal downtime
- Recognize when an issue is beyond frontline scope and escalate it promptly to our customer support team, then manage the handoff so the client stays supported from start to finish
- Maintain current, working knowledge of device functionality, software updates, and known issues
- Proactively coach clients on proper device use and maintenance to prevent recurring problems
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM activity in HubSpot
- Log all client interactions, pipeline stages, and deal updates
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support territory growth and customer success
Required Experience & Competencies
- 2 to 3+ years of B2B field sales experience required (Medical device, aesthetics, skincare, or pharma experience strongly preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel regularly and work occasional weekends
- Proven ability to build a territory through outbound prospecting
- Strong new business development background
- Genuinely comfortable cold calling by phone and doing cold drop-ins on clinics
- Comfortable leading in-person demos and clinical conversations
- Confident discussing value, outcomes, and ROI with business owners
- High technological savvy is required and non-negotiable. You must be comfortable learning, operating, and troubleshooting electronic medical devices and their software, and able to stay calm and methodical while diagnosing issues in a clinical setting
- Highly organized with strong time management and travel planning skills
- Experience using CRM tools, HubSpot preferred
- Self-motivated, competitive, and accountable in fast-paced environments

- Are uncomfortable with technology, or get frustrated learning and troubleshooting electronic devices
- Need daily structure or close supervision to perform
- Have limited experience carrying a quota in the field
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience and performance
- Uncapped commission on new device sales and ongoing consumable reorders
- 10 days PTO
- 10 company observed holidays
- Healthcare stipend of $300 per month
