About the Job
The Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a two-year, full-time Term Faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (9403) for the 2026-2027 and 2027-20028 academic years.
Duties
- Teach a 3-2 load of undergraduate courses
- Hold office hours to assist and advise students
- Departmental service and involvement in departmental programming may be available if interested

The Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota promotes feminist scholarship, teaching, and programming that centers on the relationship between knowledge, power, and social justice. The department is recognized as one of the leading programs in the field and our doctoral program is one of the most established Feminist Studies Ph.D. programs in the nation.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $65,000-$80,000 per year; depending on education/qualifications/experience
- Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
- Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
