The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the tenure track.
About the role
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn students, residents and fellows, as well as graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Clinical responsibilities may include care that specializes in IBD, motility/physiology, Hepatology, advanced endoscopy, and/or general gastroenterology.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include working on research in the field of gastroenterology, as well as collaboration with members of labs in their research and give their contributions.
- Scholarship is a requirement for this position and there is an expectation that selected candidates will be able to secure and retain research funding.
Requirements
- An M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Board certification/eligibility in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Qualifications
- Mid-career status.
- Outstanding qualifications in research.
- Excellent qualifications in teaching.
