Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Gastroenterology

Job Summary

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking an attending physician at the open rank for digestive diseases. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Participation in the Clinical Gastroenterology Programs within the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at the University of Kentucky.
• Serve as an Attending and/or Consulting Physician at the UK HealthCare Hospitals and/or the Veterans Administration Hospital for no less than three months per year.
• Provide patient care responsibilities including Transplant/Hepatology service and general gastroenterology services at the UK HealthCare transplant and outpatient clinics and possibly other outreach clinics.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient procedure blocks at UK Chandler, Good Samaritan, and/or Lexington Surgery Center.
• Teach and supervise residents and medical students in all clinical settings (inpatient, outpatient, and clinical research subjects).
• Participate in Continuing Education Programs at the College of Medicine.
