About the role

The WSU Nuclear Science Center is seeking an individual to support research on chemical and isotope separations, characterize chemical and nuclear processes, and instruct at least one undergraduate course in nuclear science per semester.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define nuclear-related research problems
  • Design research approaches
  • Secure extramural funding
  • Identify and define research problems
  • Handle radiological materials
  • Collect and interpret experimental data
  • Adapt experiments to meet project objectives

Required skills

  • Broad range of analytical techniques
  • Experience with chemical and isotope separations
  • Ability to characterize chemical and nuclear processes
  • Teaching capability for undergraduate nuclear science courses
