The Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences (NWCNHS) at Florida International University invites applications for a Tenure Earning or Tenured Faculty position as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Graduate Nursing Department.
Job Information
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredits the NWCNHS nursing programs. Faculty may teach across programs, in the classroom, or asynchronously through FIU Online.
Successful candidates must have
- a Ph.D. in Nursing or a related field (e.g., psychology, public health, biostatistics) from an accredited institution
- a strong commitment to teaching
- an established program of research (e.g., obtained Principal Investigator federal research funding)
- service excellence
Preferred qualifications
- a Registered Nurse (RN) license and/or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Florida upon employment
