Tennis/Pickleball Coach

About the role

TGA of North Central NJ is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about teaching tennis and/or pickleball to children aged 5-14. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe environment where kids learn skills, gain character, and develop proper etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Teach tennis and/or pickleball to children in schools or community settings
• Incorporate educational and character development elements into coaching sessions
• Maintain safety and fun as top priorities
• Work flexible schedules, ranging from 1 day per week to 6 days per week
• Participate in training provided by TGA

Requirements

• At least 16 years old
• Available during after-school hours, typically 2:30pm and later
• A reliable source of transportation
• Able to step outside of your comfort zone and engage with children
• Passionate about working with kids and coaching sports
• A clean background check
• High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, passionate, and creative
• Comfortable communicating with both kids and parents
• Commit to at least one full session (sessions are by season)
