Tennis/Pickleball Coach

About the role

TGA of North Central NJ is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate loves teaching tennis and/or pickleball to children aged 5-14. We focus on developing skills, education, character, and etiquette while ensuring fun and safety are our top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Teach tennis and/or pickleball to children in schools or community settings
• Incorporate educational and character development elements into coaching sessions
• Ensure all activities are safe and enjoyable for participants
• Work flexible schedules, ranging from 1 day per week to 6 days per week
• Work during after-school hours, typically 2:30pm and later

Requirements

• At least 16 years old
• Reliable transportation
• Able to step outside of your comfort zone and engage with children
• Passionate about working with kids and coaching sports
• Background check completed
• High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, and creative
• Comfortable communicating with both kids and parents
• Commitment to at least one full session (seasons are divided into sessions)
