As one of the nation’s top professional services firms, CohnReznick creates rewarding careers in advisory, assurance, and tax. This temporary (seasonal) position supports the firm’s tax services by processing and assembling completed tax returns and related reports.

This is a hybrid role based in the Woodland Hills office. Team members are expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Electronically process and assemble completed tax returns and related reports, deliver completed packages, and update the tracking system.
  • Perform a self-review for completeness and accuracy of the instruction/information contained in the virtual folder.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of assembled tax returns for shipment to clients.
  • Assist with the set-up of new client matters in the system.
  • Assist with tax software and document management maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be substituted.
  • Ability to work overtime (evenings and Saturdays) as needed with or without advanced notice.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and turn around projects quickly.
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills with ability to print, collate, and assemble documents, both electronically and physically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Prior experience with tax returns is a plus.
  • Dependable, reliable, and strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review.
  • May require standing for periods of time.
  • Access to reliable transportation for off-site business tasks (e.g., Federal Express drop-offs).
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Schedule

  • Temporary (seasonal) position: August 17, 2026 – October 16, 2026.
  • Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime (weekday evenings and Saturdays).

Pay

In California, the hourly rate for this role is $25 an hour. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
