About the role
We're seeking a hands-on Tax Accountant to support sales tax compliance, system setup, and process improvements for a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage sales tax returns
- Support sales tax compliance and reporting activities
- Assist with Avalara setup and configuration
- Help ensure accurate tax processes and documentation
- Participate in testing and system-related projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience with sales tax compliance and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Avalara setup preferred
- Experience with Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDAs) is a plus
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Pay
$50–$70/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
- 3–6 month contract with potential to extend part-time
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
