Job Description
- Assist with the set-up, running and tear-down of Lied Center events.
- Hang and focus lights.
- Change lamps.
- Repair cables.
- Run lighting consoles.
- Move curtains.
- Load and unload counterweight arbors.
- Set-up and strike acoustical shell and large music ensembles.
- Set up and run audio systems.
- Set up and run cameras.
- Run video projections.
- Lay dance floor.
- Sweep, mop, launder & press costumes.
- Clean up production areas as needed.
- Help repair, maintain all equipment.
Position Requirements
- This position requires flexibility to work around performance schedules.
- This position requires working on-site.
- Perform physical tasks associated with this occupational group with or without accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in production or theatre experience (wardrobe, lighting, audio, video, and/or fly systems) obtained through coursework, volunteer, or paid work experience, as evidenced in application materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in technical theatre, as evidenced in application materials.
- Familiarity with multiple technical theatre systems, i.e. fly rail, audio, video, lighting, rough carpentry, as evidenced in application materials.
- Wardrobe experience, as evidenced in application materials.
