Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist
About the role
This is a temporary (estimated 6-9 months) Talent Acquisition Specialist position in the HR Department responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified staff across all levels in the firm. This full-time exempt position offers a hybrid schedule requiring 2 days onsite per week at your designated office, with the possibility of additional required in-office days depending on business and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate candidate screening and interview processes, including reviewing resumes and applications, and referring qualified applicants to hiring managers
- Recommend final candidates to appropriate hiring manager and conduct and coordinate pre-hire and offer processes
- Partner with hiring managers to review, analyze and clarify job specifications and skills required; understand business operations and develop recruiting strategies
- Develop sourcing plans specific to each job opportunity; utilize proactive recruiting and behavioral interview techniques
- Create a "best in class" candidate and client experience by driving speed, quality and effective communication, including status updates
- Coordinate numerous projects and tasks simultaneously and set appropriate priority levels; coordinate project resources when required
- Respond creatively and with composure under pressure
- Work beyond regular business hours as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience (law firm or professional services experience a plus)
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Skills to allow effective communication with managers
- Ability to develop effective working relationships while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Pay
The anticipated range for this position is $84,000 - $120,000. The actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.
