About the role

Ensuring safety and compliance at temporary workplaces by signing in accordance with provincial requirements, inspecting sites, and managing traffic control operations. Interacting with customers to understand scope of work and traffic control needs, acting as a Traffic Control Person during breaks, and ensuring all safety policies are followed in the field. This role emphasizes safety, field interactions, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety and compliance by signing per provincial requirements
• Inspecting sites and performing routine inspections of workplaces
• Managing traffic control operations
• Interacting with customers to understand scope of work and traffic control needs
• Acting as a Traffic Control Person during breaks
• Ensuring all safety policies are followed in the field (monitoring safety policies adherence)
• Loading necessary equipment daily
• Signage compliance

Qualifications

• Provincial Traffic Control Person and Signer certifications (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Steel‑toe boots

Skills

• Preferred: Nova Scotia Traffic Control and Signer Certificates
• Preferred: Class 5 Driver’s license
