About the role
Traffic Control Person responsible for maintaining safety and compliance at temporary work sites.
Responsibilities
- Ensure signing of temporary workplaces meets provincial standards.
- Load necessary equipment onto the truck prior to work.
- Communicate with clients to understand traffic control needs.
- Enforce safety policies among field personnel.
- Act as Traffic Control Person during breaks or lunch.
- Perform routine inspections of work zones.
Qualifications
- Provincial Traffic Control Person and Signer Certifications.
- Preferred certifications include Nova Scotia Traffic Control and Signer Certificates, and a Class 5 Driver's License.
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Steel-toe boots required.
