About the role

The position involves ensuring safety and compliance at temporary work sites by managing traffic control measures. As a Traffic Control Person, you will follow all safety policies, act as a traffic controller during breaks, and ensure equipment and signage are properly maintained. The role requires maintaining safety standards and effective communication with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Signing workplaces according to provincial standards
• Loading necessary equipment
• Interacting with clients to assess traffic control needs
• Performing routine inspections

Qualifications

• Provincial Traffic Control Person and Signer Certifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots required
• Preferred: Nova Scotia Traffic Control certifications
• Preferred: Class 5 Driver’s license
