About the role

We are looking for a Senior Communication Specialist who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoys driving communication initiatives from idea to delivery. In this senior individual contributor role, you will work closely with business leaders, product teams, and global stakeholders to strengthen our brand, engage employees, and support commercial objectives. The role will initially be offered as a 1-year contract.

Your mission

As Senior Communication Specialist, your mission is to lead communication initiatives from concept to execution. You will advise stakeholders, drive projects forward, and ensure that communication activities support employees, customers, and external audiences. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning business objectives into clear plans, engaging content, and high-quality communication deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop communication plans that support business strategies, organizational priorities, and brand goals.
  • Advise business leaders on communication opportunities, risks, and messaging.
  • Create content and campaigns across internal, external, digital, and offline channels.
  • Support product launches, commercial initiatives, and change communication activities.
  • Lead communication projects independently, managing timelines, stakeholders, and external suppliers.
  • Use data, analytics, and communication KPIs to improve communication effectiveness.

Requirements

You are a person who enjoys working where strategy meets execution. You are comfortable engaging with senior leaders, facilitating discussions, creating communication material, building presentations, and coordinating campaigns. You take ownership naturally and move initiatives forward once objectives are clear. You proactively identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and bring structure to complex communication needs. You are collaborative, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships across functions and levels. You thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and several ongoing projects while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. You are curious, growth-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to develop further as a future leader.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a similar field.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in communications or marketing communications.
  • Strong business and commercial understanding.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in global or matrix organizations.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions.
  • A good understanding of analytics and communication KPIs.
  • Experience with change management initiatives.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is valuable:

  • Internal communications
  • Change management communications
  • Digital communications
  • Product marketing
  • Brand communications
  • Marketing communications

It is also beneficial if you have experience from B2B or industrial companies, global product launches, digital communication tools such as SharePoint, CMS platforms or marketing automation, or familiarity with AI tools for content creation and productivity.

Location

This position can be located in Stockholm or Örebro (Sweden), Dallas (Texas) or Perth (Australia).
