Communications Specialist Temporary
About the role
The Iowa Pork Industry Center (IPIC) provides swine producer education and outreach based on university research and producer needs. The Communication Specialist will support these efforts by creating web and social media content, success stories, monthly newsletters, and other communication materials that translate research findings into practical, producer-focused information. The position will work closely with faculty, researchers, and industry stakeholders to communicate scientific information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner for pork producers and other audiences.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science related field
- Website development and content creation experience
- Experience in developing short communications (i.e. infographics, fact sheets)
