Key Responsibilities

Literature reviews related to research projects
Experimental design and execution (with support from PI and senior lab members)
Data collection and analysis
Maintaining a detailed lab notebook, experimental notes, and collated data.
Preparation and presentation of data at lab meetings and department-wide venues.

Bench Research

Bench research may include, but is not limited to, transcriptome analyses, histologic stains and analysis, in vivo disease modeling, tissue dissection, and flow cytometric cell analyses.

Work Location

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: BS in biology or related discipline, Prior wet-lab research experience including proficiency in basic techniques such as RNA extraction, tissue dissection, flow cytometry staining and analysis, and at least basic microscopy.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Peer-reviewed publications, including at least one first authorship. Evidence of strong presentation skills (e.g. poster or oral presentation at a recognized extramural conference). Self-motivated and a critical thinker. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Knowledge of eosinophilic GI diseases. Skilled in intestinal cell isolations. Experience with in vivo models of inflammation.
