TEMPORARY REGISTERED NURSE: 6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am * *6-month FT position**

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care on Adolescent or Adult Mental Health Units and Substance Use Disorder Unit.
- Prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care.
- Complete nursing assessments and document care and progress of the patient each shift.
- Facilitate medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
- Respond to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
- Attend Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plans.
- Oversee and direct mental health technicians in patient care activities.
- Be accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
- Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
Pay
- FT 6:30am‑7:00am shift: $55.00/hour (every other weekend and holiday rotation).
- FT 6:30pm‑7:00am shift: $60.00/hour (every other weekend and holiday rotation).
Schedule
Temporary 6‑month position, full‑time 36‑48 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications
- Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania (or eligible to receive or renew)
- Current CPR or BLS certification
