Temporary Part-Time General Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This is a multi-skilled position that performs building maintenance across various trades under the general supervision of the Campus Facilities Directors. The role requires assisting with maintenance at all campuses and may involve travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Campus Facilities Directors with daily maintenance needs, including grounds, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Perform multiple professional trade functions, such as:
  • General carpentry work, repairs, and minor construction.
  • Paint and drywall repairs.
  • Plumbing repairs and fixture installation.
  • Light electrical repairs, including light bulb replacements, outlet, and switch replacement.
• Comply with Facilities Operational and Assessment Plans.
• Collaborate with other maintenance trades specialists on preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License.
• Must have transportation to travel between campuses as necessary.
