Position Summary
The Temporary Part-Time Counselor (Educational Specialist) reports to the Director of the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) and provides educational, career, and financial aid counseling to assist primarily lower‑income adults in selecting programs of study and appropriate postsecondary institutions. This is a grant‑funded position.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational counseling to help lower‑income adults identify suitable programs of study.
- Offer career counseling to guide clients toward appropriate postsecondary institutions.
- Assist clients with financial aid information and application processes.
Schedule
Temporary part‑time position, 29 hours per week. Continuation contingent upon availability of funding.
