About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Managers to support a large financial services organization's Wealth Management audit function. These professionals will lead and execute risk-based audits from planning through reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the business to evaluate risk management practices and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end internal audit engagements within Wealth Management businesses.
- Develop audit scopes, conduct walkthroughs, identify key risks and controls, perform testing, and document results.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls related to Wealth Management activities.
- Identify control deficiencies, develop audit findings, and prepare clear and concise audit reports.
- Manage audit projects, including planning, fieldwork execution, issue development, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and control partners throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Ensure audits are executed in accordance with internal audit standards and established methodologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Controls, Compliance, or a related function.
- Strong experience managing and executing audits from planning through reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in audit scoping, walkthroughs, control identification, testing, issue development, and reporting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Wealth Management audit experience or strong knowledge of Wealth Management business activities and associated risks and controls.
- Experience covering one or more of the following: Brokerage and investment advisory activities, Private banking, Trust and fiduciary services, Regulatory requirements impacting Wealth Management businesses.
- Experience within large banking or financial services organizations.
