TEMPORARY Intake Counselor (12 week assignment)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations;
• Cook up initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services;
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment;
• Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated;
• Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints;
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans;
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Registered Counselor in the State of California;
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus;
• Demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population;
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay

Salary range from $24.06 to $25.06 an hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
