About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all tasks related to employment eligibility, including criminal background checks, I-9 work authorization, Pilot Records Improvement Act, and related work authorizations.
  • Oversee company-wide ID badging, including printing, auditing, program efficiencies, and issuing new or replacement IDs.
  • Monitor and escalate ongoing employment eligibility issues.
  • Conduct compliance auditing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with departments to expedite clearances and meet hiring needs.
  • Partner with recruitment and hiring personnel to screen and hire qualified candidates.
  • Stay proactive regarding regulatory hiring and clearance changes.
  • Process internal transfers and facilitate hiring processes for SkyWest Airlines and SWC.
  • Update iManage supervisor changes for timely Payroll Change Notices (PCN).
  • Improve the candidate/new hire experience through partnerships with internal clients.
  • Develop processes and dashboards for efficient hiring in compliance with FAA, DOT, and other regulations.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to find efficiencies and solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Commitment to professionalism and SkyWest culture.
  • Proactive approach to obtaining employment clearances.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.

Physical And Other Requirements

  • Must live in or relocate to St. George, UT (no remote positions available).
  • Full-time, hourly position (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday between 8 AM MST - 5 PM MST.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.

This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
