About the role

The Temporary Assistant Treasurer supports the New York Film Festival from early September through October 11th, 2026. This role is union-represented and requires joining Local 751 within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Ticketing: Utilize Tessitura ticketing system to issue tickets, generate reports, maintain ticket inventory, and complete final box office settlement reports.
  • Distribution: Distribute will-call tickets, re-issue tickets as needed, and handle ticket sales during pre-event times.
  • Cash Handling: Follow proper cash handling procedures, reconcile daily transactions, including credit cards and bank deposits.
  • Policies & Procedures: Adhere to and communicate Lincoln Center policies and procedures, as well as those specific to the presenting constituent.
  • Guest Services: Interact with guests, assist with ticket purchases, provide accurate information, and address concerns, requests, and complaints.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of box office experience.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Experience with ticketing software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including working during matinee, evening, and weekend performances.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Tessitura ticketing system.
  • Multilingual skills (if applicable).

Pay
