Job Summary

The Psychology Department is currently seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team of professionals.

Duties

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to an office/department/center.
  • Aid with the day-to-day operational activities of the office/department/center.
  • Perform front desk duties such as answering phones, routing calls, handling customer service inquiries, and redirecting as necessary.
  • Resolve routine problems using preexisting guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform general routine clerical tasks, such as preparing routine documents, basic correspondence form templates or existing form letters.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Aid with travel arrangements.
  • Aid with basic event operations, as needed.
  • Sort and distribute mail.

Desired Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of PC operations and specialized software.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.

Minimum Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Monday-Friday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Advertised Salary

$15.00 per hour.
