Temp Recruiter - Odessa, TX

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join a growing team in Odessa! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced recruiting environment, knows how to find great talent, and is comfortable recruiting for blue-collar and field-based positions within the oil & gas industry. This position is a 6‑month temporary assignment with potential to go permanent for the right candidate, starting ASAP. The role is 100% onsite in Odessa, TX.

Responsibilities

• Engage with candidates who actively apply for open positions
• Source and attract passive candidates through various recruiting channels
• Review and screen applicants based on established qualifications and criteria
• Recruit for a variety of blue‑collar and rig‑based positions, including roughnecks, drillers, and other field personnel
• Coordinate candidate interviews, both in‑person and virtually via Teams
• Gather and communicate interview feedback
• Partner with the HR Business Partner to coordinate candidate next steps
• Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the recruiting process
• Help ensure positions are filled efficiently with qualified, dependable talent

Requirements

• Recruiting experience, preferably within oil & gas, energy, industrial, construction, or other blue‑collar environments
• Experience recruiting for field‑based or hard‑to‑fill positions is highly preferred

• Ability to move quickly and manage multiple candidates and openings at once

Pay

$75,000 - $95,000 per year, DOE

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
