Through cross-functionality, PCS2s play a pivotal role in ensuring that our healthcare center operates seamlessly and that our patients receive the best client experience and the highest standard of care. A PCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by demonstrating adaptability and a versatile skill set to transition between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, fostering trust and loyalty.
You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives, ensuring that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind in all tasks. The role operates within a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders, working as part of a close-knit team to meet the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical assistant clinical functions, including phlebotomy
- Handle administrative duties such as front office tasks, processing patient referrals, and verifying insurance coverage
- Actively participate in cross-functional rotations to develop skills across multiple healthcare center functions
- Collaborate with other AHF employees and departments to reinforce AHF’s reputation as a trusted healthcare provider
- Promote adaptability in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for clients and workplace for employees
Requirements
- MA Diploma is required
- National Certification is preferred
