TEMP Handyman

Position Overview

This position is primarily responsible for performing general maintenance tasks on a daily basis that include, but are not limited to the following duties:

• General plumbing repairs such as toilets, faucets, and minor leaks.
• Repair and replace general hardware such as doors, doorknobs, locks, and broken tiles.
• Maintain and update cosmetic elements of apartments, entrances, and common areas such as painting, plastering, sanding, and wallpaper installation.
• Perform general electrical work, including replacing light fixtures, smoke alarms, oven vents, outlets, and GFI.
• Assist in snow removal on sidewalks and driveways.
• Minor window repair such as window balancing and installing screens.
• Compactor, recycling, and garbage removal.

Required Experience

• 2 years of prior handyman experience.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• If you do not hold a High School Diploma or GED, we consider a substitution of a minimum of three years of experience in skilled trade work as a handyman at a residential building.
