About the role

Ace Handyman Services - Pittsburgh North is a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company serving homes and businesses in the northern Pittsburgh region. We seek highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple trades.

Responsibilities

- Work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis. - Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service. - Travel to job sites in Wexford, Cranberry, Ross, Allison Park, Gibsonia, and nearby areas. - Operate under a service-based model, with most projects estimated over the phone. - Receive and schedule jobs, and manage your own truck or van.

Requirements

- Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and demeanor. - Good overall knowledge of carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and light plumbing and electrical. - Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Own standard set of tools to perform all trades. - Own truck or van. - Valid driver’s license. - Residence within the service area: Ross, McCandless, Sewickley, Cranberry, Wexford, Gibsonia, Mars, Allison Park, Hampton, Fox Chapel area. - Background check and drug screen clearance required.

Qualifications

- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman. - Prior home inspection experience and estimation skills, strongly preferred. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Strong documentation and invoicing skills. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Starting rate of $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on carpentry experience. Potential income ranges from $45,000 to $55,000, with performance bonuses.
