Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Four years of experience that demonstrates journey-level skills in assigned areas (Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Supervision, Mechanical assessments, Blueprints)
• Able to maintain an effective and safe environment
• Fireguard Certifications (S95, W7, S12, S13, F03)

Who You Are

• Ability and skill to use manual and power tools for repairs/installations
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying heavy/large objects

What You'll Do

• Perform routine inspections of building interiors and exteriors to identify maintenance needs
• Complete general maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC work
• Respond to service requests and ensure timely and effective resolution
• Maintain and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances
• Aid with preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain and properly use tools and maintenance equipment
• Communicate with supervisors or management regarding repair needs, materials, or external vendor support
• Perform emergency and special maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, minor renovations, or facility-related incidents
• Keep records of work completed and materials used
• Aid in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Perform emergency/special tasks (i.e. flood response, appliance repair, light renovation, FDNY compliance, etc.)

Schedule

• Flexible schedule may be required, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts depending on operational needs

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$45,000 per year.
