About the role
This position will be located at our Oracle Branch: 6456 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of tellers engaged in receiving and paying out money and keeping records of transactions in credit union.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviews, hires, and trains associates; plans, assigns, and directs work; manages performance; rewards and coaches associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
- Supervises a team of tellers, providing direction and support to ensure the efficient functioning of the teller line.
- Conducts daily performance monitoring, provides coaching, and delivers feedback to tellers to enhance service quality and operational accuracy.
- Covers teller activities during peak hours to support member service and maintain efficient branch operations.
- Trains tellers in providing exceptional member service and adhering to credit union procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures all teller operations comply with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains a secure and compliant branch environment by controlling access to the vault and ensuring the secure handling of cash and negotiable instruments.
- Prepares and reviews daily reports related to teller operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Supports the implementation of branch-level initiatives and procedures as directed by the Branch Manager.
- Collaborates with the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager to ensure overall branch operational efficiency and member satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience. Previous Teller Supervisor experience in similar asset size branch preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong leadership, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Pay
Target hiring range $21.12/hr - $26.40/hr (Depending on experience and prior to any incentives this position is eligible for)
