Teller Specialist - McNary Branch

About the role

Maps Credit Union seeks a full-time Teller Specialist for our McNary Branch. The ideal candidate is friendly, collaborative, and a great communicator, with a passion for customer service and helping members succeed financially.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while processing account services to members.
• Enhance member relationships by assessing their needs and recommending products and services.
• Achieve personal and branch monthly goals.
• Accurately maintain and balance a cash drawer, checks, and money orders within established policy limits.
• Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements and Credit Union operations and security procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will have the highest level of ethical behavior and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience and 1 year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, is required.
• Must be bondable and able to meet Maps' background check and credit reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work rotating Saturdays from 9:45AM-2:15PM.

Pay

• Starting Non-Exempt Wage: $19.00 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn monthly incentives.
• Bilingual Teller Specialists receive an additional .50/hour bilingual pay differential.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 8:45AM - 5:45PM
• Fridays: 8:45AM-6:15PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:45AM-2:15PM
