Responsible Duties

- Develop and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to sell additional credit union products and services.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Handle members' requests per member's directions with complete accuracy in a timely manner.
- Make decisions when accepting checks and follow established policy guidelines to reduce risk and monetary losses.
- Comply with all federal and NCUA regulations, including Reg CC, Bank Secrecy Act, Reg D, and Truth in Savings.
- Receive share deposits and make share withdrawals and transfers, VISA credit card payments, VISA advances, loan payments, mortgage payments.
- Refer credit union services that best meet the member’s financial needs, including product accounts and electronic delivery channels.
- Provide official checks/money orders, redeem Savings Bonds, complete CTR reports, operate and balance coin machine, operate postage machine, submit checks through Check Imaging system, open and close building daily, process day end reports, maintain security, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Deposit and Member Service Functions: effectively explain credit union products and services to members, cross-sell products and services when appropriate, communicate with members requiring assistance in account usage, account balance, and inquiries, administer appropriate procedures to process items, count, sort, and wrap coin received as necessary, scan receipts and documents into the imaging system, take part in required training sessions, and use educational materials available through the Credit Union.
- Research account information or discrepancies for members at their request, process check orders, make address changes, direct loan documents and other correspondence to correct departments, close accounts when requested according to procedure, and perform other duties as assigned.
