About the role
Tellers at Central Pacific Bank are the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and processing routine financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, merchant transactions, etc.)
- Giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes into the branch
- Helping customers meet their financial goals by informing them of products and services to meet their individual needs
- Exhibiting core competencies that result in consistent delivery of positive Customer Interactions, Empowerment and Ownership
- Demonstrating key professional and performance skills such as Active Listening, effective Oral and Written Communication, Action and Solution Oriented, and Thoroughness
- Cash Handling & Customer Service: Providing an Exceptional Customer Experience, delivering personalized customer service, tackling a variety of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, answering customer questions, complying with security procedures, and safeguarding assigned and branch cash according to Security Procedures
- Deposit Product Referrals: Holding financial conversations to determine needs and refer appropriate solutions, identifying referral opportunities, actively cross-selling bank products and services, participating in branch or bank-wide campaigns, maintaining and submitting customer referrals and reports as required
Requirements
- Teller I Requirements: 6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service
- Teller II Requirements: 1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service, 1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
