About the role
Tellers at Central Pacific Bank are the face of the company to both customers and non-customers. Their primary responsibilities include processing routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and merchant transactions. They also provide a warm welcome to every customer who visits the branch.
Responsibilities
- Processing routine financial transactions
- Providing personalized customer service
- Tackling a variety of financial transactions
- Maintaining accurate records of each customer
- Answering customer questions with a can-do attitude
- Safeguarding assigned and branch cash according to security procedures
- Maintaining working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Referring customers to appropriate financial products and services
- Maintaining and submitting customer referrals and reports
Requirements
- 6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
