Responsibilities

• Exhibits passion for Elevations Credit Union (ECU) and demonstrates Elevations’ core values: Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence
• Engages members using the Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK’T) Service Model with care, professionalism, and the highest level of service to explore relevant solutions and refer to internal partners as identified
• Performs teller transactions including processing account deposits, withdrawals, and payments promptly and accurately
• Maintains high-level operational excellence in daily teller operations such as cash balancing, completing opening and closing tasks, and performing or supporting periodic cash control and operational audits
• Develops good interpersonal relationships by helping members feel valued
• Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
• Follows processes and procedures to protect members and ECU from fraud and loss

Requirements

• 6 months experience successfully managing customer service interactions in a fast-paced environment
• Equivalent to a high school diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Personal smartphone (required for multi-factor authentication)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. The role requires sitting frequently, walking occasionally, frequent use of hands, constant hearing, frequent talking, and exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week. Days of work: Monday - Saturday. Classification: Non-Exempt.

Pay

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $19.47 and $24.30 hourly rate plus an annual bonus. Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements, and/or skill level.
