About the role

Serving as a liaison between members and the Credit Union, you will provide account information and assistance in person, by phone, or electronically. Your responsibilities include opening accounts, resolving issues, and delivering a variety of transactional services while promoting Credit Union products and services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between members and the Credit Union.
• Provide account information and assistance in person, by phone, or electronically.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Handle member requests for transfers, withdrawals, check requests, share certificates, and loan payments.
• Recommend Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Respond to member emails and electronic requests professionally and accurately.
• Address member requests, problems, and complaints or refer to appropriate staff.
• Mail receipts and checks per policy.
• Provide information on investment alternatives.
• Research account discrepancies and assist with account balancing.
• Assist with payroll deduction and direct deposit forms.
• Help members open IRAs, HSAs, share certificates, etc.
• Perform teller duties as needed.
• Use lending software to input loan requests.
• Attend required meetings.
• Comply with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
