About the role
Serving as a liaison between members and the Credit Union, you will provide account information and assistance in person, by phone, or electronically. Your responsibilities include opening accounts, resolving issues, and delivering a variety of transactional services while promoting Credit Union products and services.Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between members and the Credit Union.
- Provide account information and assistance in person, by phone, or electronically.
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
- Handle member requests for transfers, withdrawals, check requests, share certificates, and loan payments.
- Recommend Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information.
- Respond to member emails and electronic requests professionally and accurately.
- Address member requests, problems, and complaints or refer to appropriate staff.
- Mail receipts and checks per policy.
- Provide information on investment alternatives.
- Research account discrepancies and assist with account balancing.
- Assist with payroll deduction and direct deposit forms.
- Help members open IRAs, HSAs, share certificates, etc.
- Perform teller duties as needed.
- Use lending software to input loan requests.
- Attend required meetings.
- Comply with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
