Teller (Hilo Branch)

About the role

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a collaborative and team-oriented Teller to join our Hilo Branch. As the face of First Hawaiian Bank, you will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products and services
• Engage positively with customers and use judgment and discretion regarding transactions and confidential information
• Educate customers on products and services using sales advisory skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Personal alignment with our core values: Caring, Character, and Collaboration
• One year or more of customer service experience and cash handling
• Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail

Pay

$20.00 - $23.50/hour, plus sales incentives.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Rotational Saturday 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary).
