Teller/Floater
About the role
The Teller/Floater is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities. They are responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for clients in person, via phone, and through the mail, ATM and Night depository, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers checks, cash advances, stop payments, tax payments and wires. They balance each day’s transactions and verify cash totals. They assist clients promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally and help with bookkeeping and checking account problems. They answer clients' questions regarding the bank's products and services and actively cross-sell the bank's products and services. They might also perform other duties including signature verification, and remote deposit capture review. They travel to other offices in the region to provide coverage as needed due to vacations, illnesses and other leaves of absence. They assist the Branch Manager and the Sr. Regional Branch Administrator with other duties as assigned.

- Aid clients promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and checking account problems.
- Answer clients' questions regarding the bank's products and services and actively cross-sell the bank's products and services.
- Perform other duties including signature verification, and remote deposit capture review.
- Travel to other offices in the region to provide coverage as needed due to vacations, illnesses and other leaves of absence.
- Assist the Branch Manager and the Sr. Regional Branch Administrator with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Teller and Operations procedures.
- Basic understanding of banking products, services and operations.
- Experience generally acquired on the job in 12 months.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Teller and Operations procedures. Basic understanding of banking products, services and operations.
- Experience Required: Abilities generally acquired on the job in 12 months.
- Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Good math skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.

Pay
Hiring Salary Range: $15.00 to $18.00. This compensation information is United Business Bank's good-faith estimate and is provided pursuant to Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
