About the role

As a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) in our Cutler Bay Branch, you will assist members with various financial transactions, provide tailored product recommendations, and manage the lobby to ensure efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Meet established goals through effective sales and service skills
• Consult with members about SCCU products and services, recommending additional offerings
• Serve as floor manager to assess member needs and direct them to appropriate resources
• Perform all aspects of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and the sale of monetary instruments
• Manage and maintain existing deposit and loan accounts, providing member service
• Maintain accuracy in cash, monetary instruments, and daily work using computer terminals and online systems
• Master and utilize computer terminal and online system commands, including general ledger fee and transaction codes

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalency required
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation

Starting Salary: $17.91 - $18.97/hour
Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus

Monday through Friday 7:45 am - 6:15 pm
Saturday's on rotation 8:45 am - 1:15 pm
