About the role
As a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) in our Calle Ocho Branch, you will assist members with various transactions, provide tailored recommendations for SCCU products, and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate effective sales and service skills by meeting established goals.
- Consult with members regarding SCCU products and services and recommend additional offerings to meet member needs.
- Periodically serve as floor manager to assess walk-in member's needs, direct them to the appropriate information source, and minimize member waiting time.
- Perform all aspects of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and the sale of monetary instruments to provide complete member service.
- Balance cash, monetary instruments, and daily work accurately to ensure member account integrity.
- Services existing deposit and loan accounts, assists members with transactions and account maintenance to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Masters and effectively utilizes the computer terminal and online system, and all required commands, including general ledger fee and transaction codes, to produce error-free work.
Requirements
- 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.
- A High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
Compensation
Starting Salary: $17.91 - $18.97/hour
Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 6:15 pm
Saturdays on rotation 8:45 am-1:15 pm
