Responsibilities
- Provide platform engineering support for DFAS CCE NIPRNet enclave.
- Process and resolve Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets.
- Support implementation of new hardware and software technologies.
- Afford assistance with CCE infrastructure monitoring activities.
- Support virtualization and directory services operations.
- Document technical solutions and effort in ticketing system.
- Participate in CCB change control processes.
- Sustain Teleservices infrastructure (VoIP, fax systems, conferencing).
- Coordinate with senior engineers on complex technical issues.
- Support testing and validation of CCE changes.
Requirements
- An active Secret Clearance.
- A United States Citizenship.
Qualifications
- 5+ years systems engineering experience.
- Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification).
- Security+ certification.
- Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and basic Linux administration.
- Knowledge of MECM, SCOM, and Microsoft management tools.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Familiarity with VoIP and teleservices technologies.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP certification (upgrade path).
- Azure administrator certification.
- VMware VCP certification.
- Experience with DFAS systems.
- Knowledge of DISA STIGs.
- VoIP/Unified Communications experience.
- PostgreSQL database experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications
- Mandatory: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
