Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be part of our triage team. This position will be responsible for a high volume of calls daily and responds in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State of Florida LPN license
• Three to five years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for interviewing the patients to gather information and assign triage priority.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team about patients' statuses.
• Absists for a professional, friendly, and helpful relationship with all patients and co-workers.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Stays up-to-date on advancements in emergency medicine and urgent care best practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of patient charting and recordkeeping processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Hours

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
