Telemetry Staff Nurse - Full-Time Days

About the role

Provide direct patient care on a 6-bed telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of care.
• Promote patient and family-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on illness management.
• Communicate care plans across healthcare settings.
• Address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree (required).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• Less than two years of nursing experience (preferred).
• Critical nursing skills to address diverse patient needs.
