Telemetry Nurse - Full-Time Days

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a small-format hospital setting. This role demands proficiency in patient assessment, critical care management, and effective teamwork, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
• Managing higher-acuity inpatient patients, including cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions
• Supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and high-flow oxygen
• Responding to changing patient conditions, including ventilated patients awaiting transfer
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and supporting telemedicine communication
• Performing lab testing, admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
• Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and adherence to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• Current RN license with no sanctions
• Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
