About the role
This position involves performing primary nursing functions such as assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Providing age-specific and specialty-appropriate care
- Following physician orders
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Adhering to infection control protocols
- Collecting lab samples
- Performing admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Assembling equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures
- Completing quality assessments
- Attending meetings
- Performing assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current RN licensure without sanctions
- At least two years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles
- BLS and ACLS certification from recognized organizations (PALS strongly preferred)
- Fluency in English
- Successful completion of background checks (for Pennsylvania license holders)
