Telemetry Registered Nurse (PRN Nights)

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient needs. You will deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate care while adhering to physician orders, infection control protocols, and legal, hospital, and nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care.
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital standards.
• Collect lab samples and manage admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and support treatment processes.
• Participate in quality assessments and attend staff meetings.
• Perform assigned tasks in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry, ICU, or related healthcare setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Background clearances required for Pennsylvania applicants.
