Telemetry Registered Nurse (PRN NIGHTS)

About the role

This role involves performing core nursing duties, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care, with a focus on safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, specialty-appropriate nursing care by applying advanced clinical knowledge
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient confidentiality
• Adhere to infection control, aseptic techniques, and legal standards
• Collect laboratory samples, perform tests, and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Prepare equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures
• Complete quality assessments, attend meetings, and perform assigned tasks

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• Fluency in English, both written and oral
• For Pennsylvania RNs: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain prior to starting
