Role Overview
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Affirms physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.
- Communicates care plans effectively across the continuum of care.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; preferred candidates may have less than 2 years or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
